I would love to be able to protect them from all that. But I suppose that it is only with suffering that we grow...Kestonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1087502739566584714.post-35168142516429216022007-08-05T23:28:00.000+10:002007-08-05T23:28:00.000+10:00Beautiful, poignant post Loz! You expressed so well, some of the anxiety and bewilderment we feel when we reach an age when we realize that we are still unprepared in some ways for the future. Ahh to have that blessed innocence of a child again for just a day or two, how sweet that would be!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1087502739566584714.post-52160466273623148572007-08-06T00:40:00.000+10:002007-08-06T00:40:00.000+10:00You know, I often think that about my boys... how ...You know, I often think that about my boys... how wonderous and relaxing it must be to not have to worry about politics, finance, or anything we "grown-ups" do or think about. Their biggest event is whether or not they get to go to Bumpa's house or out to play (Bumpa being my dad... they couldn't say Grandpa properly and that has been his nickname ever since). I miss only caring about the little things. It just enforces my need and want to live through my kids vicariously. I have found playing wih playdough or coloring in a coloring book can be quite liberating and more fun than figuring the biweekly budget ;o)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1087502739566584714.post-89746384185277385922007-08-06T09:58:00.000+10:002007-08-06T09:58:00.000+10:00Hi Josie - am I strating to sound like a broken re...Hi Josie - am I strating to sound like a broken record yet?

Pen - I had far more time to play with my two sons than I did with my daughters as they were growing up - work and longer hours with more responsibility intervened and that will be an eternal regretAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1087502739566584714.post-72952559469090911712007-08-06T10:00:00.000+10:002007-08-06T10:00:00.000+10:00One other thing.
