Prius Drivers the new Volvo Drivers

Everyone knows that it is best to avoid certain types of drivers - mothers dropping kids to school, old men wearing hats, young men wearing baseball caps backwards, women applying mascara and of course anyone who drives a Volvo.  Each and everyone of these classes of people seem pretty much oblivious to other road users.

Well let me tell you ladies and gentlemen, having had the pleasure of driving to work several times over the past couple of weeks or so, I want to add another group to the list.  Prius drivers, absolute tools.  Maybe they think driving an semi-electric car shows they have a green conscience and the rest of us owe them something.  I've been cut off, held up, denied lanes and found my presence totally ignored by these Prius driving priapic pricks.  And yes I know there is a certain tautology about that statement but I don't care.

Apologies in advance to those who drive them but my pet hate is 4WD vehicles. They should not be driving around in the suburbs. They hog the road, they don't fit in a regular car park space so they take up two and you can't see round them or over them to anticipate the traffic. God forbid if you are at an intersection where a 4WD is turning right and you are turning left. You have to wait til they go before you can see what's coming. it drives me crazy. I bet 90% of them have never taken their vehicles off road which is what they were designed for. AAAARRRGH!

Yet to experience rage at a Prius. In fact from my observations, they seem to be conservative drivers without the Volvo stupidity. I will watch for it. And I love to hate 4wds too.

I have a 6 hour drive up to our lake house and without fail, because I count them - it's a boring drive - Chevrolet cars are usually the most aggravating for me. My husband thought I was kidding until he played "my game" of what make cars piss you off the most - he agreed!

BTW, I didn't get to comment on your 9-11 post. Thank you for remembering! My best friends daughter was killed in the Pentagon plane and that day my son rushed home from college and joined the army. My husband had several friends in the Tower. It was a day we will never forget!

Maybe not stupid but in my recent experience oblivious to what's going on around them
