Folks I have a touch of the flu so if I'm quiet for a few days you'll know the reason why. Being a typical bloke I tend to fall in a heap when I'm crook. :)
So sorry to hear that Loz, hope you start feeling better soon! You are right, men don't handle illness or pain very well, but everyone needs a little tlc sometimes. I hope someone brings you some chicken soup!
Oh man. Not to stereotype, right? I agree, we guys are all just typical blokes when the bug hits us. I'd go so far as to call us "wimps." Least that's what my lady friends tell me, and it's really difficult to get a word in edgewise re: pain threshold with the gals. Lol.
Hope you feel better soon Laurie. Good time to snuggle up in bed with heaps of books. "Chicken soup for the soul" is good. Oh and of course chicken soup for the cold. Jen x
