Musical Monday - They Don't Understand

Next time you're feeling a little impatient or angry about standing in a queue, or maybe just like you're in a hurry, try and remember this song from Sawyer Brown.

Beautiful. We should all think more about other people instead of petty little annoyances that really have no place in the grand scheme of things.

It's funny this is exactly what I was thinking about yesterday. My husband and I were discussing someone...and I discovered the reason that they were the way they were. You never know who is going through what at a particular time in their lives and so we should try to be gentle in our perceptions!

I need to get over all the little things that drive me crazy on a daily basis.

Thanks Loz!

A nice song. I feel though comfortable as I don't get upset or impatient or annoyed. Well, perhaps twice a year.

Gypsy - it is easy to forget that sometimes people just have a bad day

Janice - thankyou for spreading the love

Amber - there are times when we assume to much.

Mel - you're not alone there, we all do it

Josie - you're welcome. I'm enjoying finding songs with messages

Peter - if it's only once or twice a year you are a lucky man.

Thanks for the Cat utube video. I had forgotten what a great song that really is. Powerful. And I'm even a daughter and I say that.

Bun bun - it certainly still gets to me, and thanks for the visit

Thank you for stopping at my blog today, you were God sent, as my mom is back in the hospital, and as you know from my blog, it's been a long journey for a wonderful lady. I hope she's okay, however indications are, she is very sick...
I read your other posst regarding your son, your children. As a 61 year old grandmother and mother I sense a wonderful man, filled with life, and of course some regret..nobody can do it all. It's the ones that try their best that are life's gifts. You seem like that person. As you read about my family..you'll notice the same in reflection. I love your blog and will visit every day as it will be a favorite. I'm so grateful you stopped by and I found you..thank you from grammy..The song will be a favorite..I'm buying it today.

I used to love Sawyer Brown, but haven't listened to any of their music in a long time. I have never heard this one and found the words to be very true and a much needed reminder!

Hi Dorothy - those are very kind words and I thank you and will be a regular visitor to your blog too! It is horrible when family members are ill, the best we can do is remember the good times and be there when they need us.

Hi Terri - Sawyer Brown are favourites of mine. I was actually trying to find a video of "The Walk" which is a similar theme to "Cats in the Cradle" and a wonderful song. I urge anyone who likes sentiment in music to have a listen to that one too.
